National Tennis Month: What’s happening in our district

May is National Tennis Month and as you can imagine, we are excited to share with you some of the events taking place here in USTA Heart of America. Whether you’re a junior, adaptive or adult tennis player, there’s something happening for everyone!

 

  • May 3-5: USTA Missouri Valley Adult L4 55 & Over NTRP & Open Outdoor Championship / Plaza Tennis Center
  • May 3-5: USTA Junior Circuit / Genesis Health Clubs - KC Racquet Club
  • May 10-11: 2024 Heartland Wheelchair Tournament / Elite Tennis & Wellness
  • May 10-11: All-Comers Wheelchair Camp / Elite Tennis & Wellness
  • May 17-19: USTA Junior Circuit / Genesis Health Clubs - Lawrence South
  • May 18-20: Level 2 Overland Park, KS Junior Tournament / Harmon Park
  • May 24-26: Level 6 USTA Heart of America L6 BG 12-18 / Harmon Park

 

To highlight one of these events, the Heartland Wheelchair Tournament is open to adaptive tennis players with draws for coed singles and doubles across three divisions. Prize money will be awarded to first- and second-place finishers. Lunch will likewise be provided both days of the tournament with a wheelchair clinic taking place Saturday for juniors and adults.
