Cost
Varies by league location. Pricing can be found on the registration site under ‘forms’ and ‘player registration’ when signing up.
Ratings
When you register, you will input any national ratings from DUPR, WTR, UTPR, and PBSR. For those that you have, you will then input the average of the ratings as your starting rating. This will be locked for the season.
If you do not have national ratings, you will self-rate at .2 above the set level for the team you join (ex. If you join a 3.5 team, you would self-rate at a 3.7).
Match results will only go into pickleballscores.com and impact your PBSR rating, it will not affect any other ratings.
Players competing in each division can have a MAXIMUM rating of the following:
3.0 Division → 3.49
3.5 Division → 3.99
4.0 Division → 4.49
4.5 Division → 4.99
New Point System
Each match will be two games to 11, win by two with the new point system. This awards a team if they have a close match and do not win. The point system is cumulative for the team for the match, and throughout the season. Depending on the result of each individual game played, a team may earn either two (2), one (1), or zero (0) points towards their overall TEAM score.
Two points = won the game
One point = lost the game but scored at least 6 points
Zero points = lost the game and scored 5 points or less
