US Open week to air on Tennis Channel

Celebrate all things US Open from the comfort of your own home with Tennis Channel beginning on April 20.

 

Host Steve Weissman and former US Open champions Lindsay Davenport, Tracy Austin and Andy Roddick will revisit some of the best matches from the past five years at Flushing Meadows with daily three-hour "Tennis Channel Live," shows beginning at noon ET on Monday and running throughout the week. 

 

The broadcasts will also include special reports daily from Jon Wertheim and Prakash Amritraj, as they share their unique perspectives on the past, present and future, and special guests Billie Jean King, Caty McNally, Kristie Ahn and Paul Wesley, star of the TV's "Vampire Diaries" are also set to appear. 

Following TC Live each weekeday, from 3-8 p.m. ET, the channel will air some of the best Open matches from the past two decades in full, with over 20 hours of additional broadcasts scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

 

Some of the classic matches set to air in these programming blocks include: 

 

2002 Men's Singles Championship: Pete Sampras vs. Andre Agassi

2010 Men's Singles Championship: Rafael Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic

2015 Women's Quarterfinal #1: Serena Williams vs. Venus Williams

2017 Men's First Round: Roger Federer vs. Francis Tiafoe

2018 Women's Semifinal #2: Naomi Osaka vs. Madison Keys

2019 Women's Singles Championship: Bianca Andreescu vs. Serena Williams
