New board members 2025
Central Indiana would like to introduce you to the newest members of their board. These individuals will serve for the 2025-2026 term. Learn more about the efforts they are making to grow tennis in Central Indiana.
Conner Hunt
Originally from Fairmount, Conner is now the Director of Tennis at Community Sports and Wellness in Pendleton, IN. He has played tennis all his life and decided to make it his profession. Conner attended Ferris State University where he graduated from the Professional Tennis Management (PTM) Program and competed for the Men's Tennis Team. While at Ferris, he helped his team achieve a top 10 national D-2 ranking, win two regular season conference championships, a conference tournament championship, and make the Final Four.
After graduation, he moved to Louisiana where he worked as the Head Tennis Professional at Franco's Athletic Club outside of New Orleans. He has worked with all ages and levels for years and loves to see players succeed. After several years in NOLA, he and his wife moved back to Indiana to start a family and put down roots where he plans to stay. He couldn't be more excited to continue to grow the game he loves!
Dell Pride
Dell Pride was raised in central Indiana in Anderson. A former Indian Mascot for the Anderson Indians, Dell was seen by countless thousands of people dancing the traditional war dance in the WIGWAM before basketball games. Dell was a varsity track and football player who played competitive tennis during the summer through high school. As a walk-on member of the Fall 88’ TSU Tigers Men’s Tennis Team, Dell competed one season only before committing to professional tennis. Dell has played and/or coached professionally nationally and internationally for over 25 years. Dell is a former collegiate head coach for Fisk University and a state championship Boys’ high school coach for University School of Nashville. Dell is now the head coach for Cardinal Ritter high school, as well as the Director of Racquets for Broadmoor Country Club and The Riviera Club in the Indianapolis area.
Dell has three children and likes to spend time in his hometown of Nashville Tennessee, where he was born and began his professional coaching career at the Opryland Hotel.
Dell’s hobbies include live music, learning the guitar, and extreme thrift shopping.
Ricky Ritter
Born and raised in New Palestine, Indiana, Ricky started playing tennis at an early age. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wabash College, where he also played tennis, and a master’s degree in teaching from Marian University. After college, Ricky joined the educational equity leadership program Teach For America and has worked in education ever since. He currently works for Indianapolis Public Schools on the Portfolio Management team and volunteers as the current President of IndyTennis, Indianapolis’ LGBTQ and ally tennis club. Ricky enjoys playing tennis regularly in USTA adult leagues, the Industrial League, and IndyTennis.
