Ready to give tennis a shot? Look no further.

 

Whether you are looking to get involved with introductory programs, high-level tournaments, competitive leagues or volunteering (or, if you just want to hit the ball around a bit), there is an opportunity for you! Check out some of the connections you can make through the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Middle States section below. Or, if you want help figuring things out, just let us know.

 


Adult Programs (18+ years old) 

 

Junior/Youth Programs (<18 years old) 

  • Intro to Tennis: Find an intro tennis program for kids in your community. If you don't know where to start, let us find a program for you! 
  • Team Tennis: Players of all levels ages 6 to 18 play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other co-ed teams.
  • Junior Tournaments: Beginner, intermediate and advanced opportunities to compete.
  • High-Performance Training and Camps: Organized training opportunities for high-performance junior players.
  • Wheelchair Tennis: Opportunities to wheelchair athletes of all ages and backgrounds. Email us and we will help you find a program. 
  • Adaptive Tennis: Opportunities to play, regardless of ability. Find a program in your state, or email us and we will help you find a program. 

 

Community Tennis 

  • Volunteer: Opportunities to help the USTA achieve its mission locally and nationally.
  • Grants and Scholarships: Ways to help get your park/facility/organization the help it needs, or apply for a scholarship.

 

Coaching Tennis

  • Become a CoachAre you interested in becoming a coach? Let us know! 
  • Safe Play Approved Coaches: Find a list of Safe Play Approved Tennis Coaches in your area by using our look-up tool. 
  • What is Safe Play?: USTA’s comprehensive athlete safety program consisting of education, screening, reporting tools and policies for appropriate conduct in tennis. The USTA works with the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee to develop Safe Play policies, procedures, and educational resources to support the USTA Safe Play program.
