What does receiving this award mean to you?

"It means a great deal to receive community recognition of the commitment and dedication the DWTC and its members have made to improving the lives of so many people and growing wheelchair tennis." – Carlos Turic, President

Presented at the 2024 Awards Luncheon at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel in Irving on Saturday, Feb. 10th:

Texas tennis legend, Randy Snow, was a tireless voice championing tennis, particularly for disabled individuals. The Dallas Wheelchair Tennis Club, an organization co-founded by Randy Snow himself, carries on his legacy by serving as an advocate and organizer of wheelchair tennis in and around DFW.

It has helped produce two World #1 players, multiple Paralympic Medalists, and top ranked ITF and USTA Letter Division athletes. The DWTC proudly wears the mantle of the birthplace of wheelchair tennis in Texas and continues to carry on the legacy of Randy Snow into the future.
