Know a player, coach, official, provider, facility or organization deserving of recognition? Show your appreciation and nominate them for the 2024 USTA St. Louis Awards by the Sept. 1 deadline.

Award criteria and access to the nomination form can be found by clicking here. Questions about the USTA St. Louis Awards can be directed to Karolyn Stanley at officeadmin@usta.stl.com.

Jeff Harris, who received the 2023 Adult Player of the Year (4.0+) Award, said he was honored to be nominated for an accolade.

“I was nominated by one of my team members, as I captain two 18+ teams, one 40+ team and an Impact Team Tennis team,” Harris said. “At first I thought it was a hoax, but then I was just excited to be nominated. It was great to reflect on my progress over the past year and why I was nominated.”

In order to announce and honor those who are awarded, USTA St. Louis hosts an annual award celebration dinner. It is also a way to bring the local tennis community together.

“It was great to be recognized, but I thoroughly enjoyed being at the event and learning about all the other divisions and levels at USTA,” Harris said. “Tennis is a hobby that allows me to connect to and expand my network of friends and family. It is a way of life that I am not willing to negotiate with.”

The awards celebration dinner will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at the LiUNA Event Center and is open to all. Registration, which opens in September, is required and can be found by clicking here. Individuals can nominate for the following USTA St. Louis Awards:
