2024 USTA Missouri Valley League Section Championship Winners
It’s that time of year where USTA Missouri Valley League Section champions will be crowned. The most wonderful time of the tennis year, indeed! Who will punch their ticket to the USTA National Championships?

65 & Over Section Invitational | Overland Park | July 25-28
More than 400 players participated in the 10th annual USTA Missouri Valley 65 & Over Section Invitational at Overland Park Racquet Club, a USTA Premier Facility. A total of 40 teams competed for championships in their respective divisions.
Eight champions were crowned from four different districts. Winning teams—which are listed below—qualified for the 65 & Over National Invitational taking place in 2025 in Surprise, Ariz. 18 & Over/55 & Over Section Championships I | St. Louis | August 2-4
The adult 18 & Over and 55 & Over Section Championship season kicked off within USTA St. Louis, as 18+ teams at the 2.5 (W), 3.5 and 4.5 levels as well as 55+ squads (6.0, 8.0) vied for titles. Dwight Davis Tennis Center, Westminster Christian Academy and Lindbergh High School hosted the action.
Nine USTA Missouri Valley teams locked up their spots in the USTA League National Championships. USTA Oklahoma had a strong showing, claiming six of those nine slots. 18 & Over/55 & Over Section Championships II | Oklahoma City | August 16-18
Oklahoma City played host to the 18 & Over 3.0/4.0/5.0 and 55 & Over 7.0/9.0 Section Championships on Aug. 16-18.
During the weekend, 10 USTA Missouri Valley teams punched their ticket to the USTA League National Championships taking place later this year. USTA Oklahoma captured seven team titles, while USTA Heart of America earned the other three bids. For photos of the winning teams, click here.

40 & Over Section Championships III | Springfield & Tulsa | August 23-25
The 40+ League Section Championships took place this weekend with eight teams clinching spots in the USTA League National Championships. Cooper Tennis Complex and Gillenwaters Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo. hosted the 3.0 and 4.0 divisions, while USTA Premier Facility Case Tennis Center held the 3.5 and 4.5 divisions.
USTA Oklahoma and USTA Heart of America continued their strong runs. The advancing 40 & Over 3.0 and 4.5 squads will be heading to Arizona in October for nationals, and the 3.5/4.0 teams will travel to Orlando in October.

Mixed 18 & Over Section Championships I | Topeka | September 6-8
Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka, Kan. played host to the Mixed 18 & Over Section Championships for the 6.0 to 10.0 levels. Thirty teams competed during the weekend with every USTA Missouri Valley district represented at the section championship.
Mixed teams from a variety of districts captured titles, too, with a 10.0 squad snagging USTA Kansas's first section championship of the year. A team from USTA Missouri, USTA Nebraska, USTA Oklahoma and USTA St. Louis also earned titles.

Mixed 40 & Over Section Championships | Kansas City, Mo. | September 20-22
The Plaza Tennis Center hosted the Mixed 40 & Over Section Championships for the 6.0 to 9.0 levels. Teams from each of the USTA Missouri Valley districts were there to compete for a chance to represent the section at Nationals.
USTA Iowa claimed their first two section championships of the year with their 8.0 and 9.0 mixed teams coming away on top. USTA Oklahoma continued their success with their 6.0 and 7.0 mixed teams claiming their spots to nationals.

18 & Over Tri-Level | Wichita | November 1-3
18 & Over Tri-Level teams traveled down to Wichita to compete for their chance to compete at nationals this past weekend.
Four districts have representation heading off to nationals with both USTA Nebraska's Womens and Mens 3.5-4.0-4.5 teams representing the section. USTA Oklahoma will have their Mens 3.0-3.5-4.0 team advancing as well as their Womens 4.0-4.5-5.0 team. USTA Kansas had their 3.0-3.5-4.0 Womens team punch their ticket and USTA Iowa's Mens 4.0-4.5-5.0 team rounds out the six representing the section.

The final USTA Missouri Valley sectional event of 2024 took place indoors at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo.
Fifteen teams representing all seven USTA Missouri Valley districts—about 170 players in total—competed at the Mixed 55 & Over Invitational. Four teams captured championships to progress to the next stage of nationals. For a photo album of the event, click here.
