Adult Leagues | Northern
USTA League Tennis is the country’s largest recreational tennis league with more than 320,000 tennis players taking part each year. It provides organized, structured team matches for men and women of all ability levels. Levels are based on the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) and range from beginner (2.5) to advanced (5.0). All teams are set up according to players' NTRP rating and players are assured of facing someone of comparable ability. USTA Northern Adult Leagues feature local, area and sectional playoffs, culminating in a national championship.
If you love tennis, you'll love USTA League!
USTA Northern Adult Leagues are a great way to stay active, socialize and improve your game. Different age groups and different styles of play - like mixed doubles and more - are available to join. League offerings vary from section to section but most offer NTRP-level based play by age group. New players can self-rate to obtain an NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) rating (please note that a USTA Account is needed to obtain a self-rating). Once you have an NTRP rating, you are ready to find a league and start playing!
Please see below for information on getting started and a listing of leagues currently offered in USTA Northern as well as League Regulations and 2023 Section Championship dates.
