Hope College
Hope College’s Professional Tennis Management (PTM) program is a collaboration between their exercise science major and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
They place a strong emphasis on player wellness and coaching as well as applied experience in program and facility management. This combination will have graduates poised for careers in the tennis industry, and provides access to a career path with nearly 100 percent placement for new graduates.
Upon completion of their exercise science major and PTM program, students will automatically receive certification through both the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). Students will have the opportunity to study in award-winning tennis facilities and learn from nationally recognized tennis teaching professionals.
Their program includes coursework in the Hope College exercise science major as well as tennis-specific content totaling 65 credit hours out of the 126 hours that students must complete across the college's curriculum to graduate.
