Volunteer Exceptional Service Award (VESA)

The USTA Annual Meeting & Conference
HISTORY
This award, proposed by the USTA Awards Committee and approved by the Board of Directors in 2014, recognizes national committee members who have made exceptional contributions above and beyond expected committee work.
ELIGIBILITY
Any current USTA National Committee member who has served for:
- Up to ten years of service
- Ten or more years of service.
Nominees not previously chosen may be resubmitted.
CRITERIA
Nominees must be current National Volunteers.
Nominees may be individuals who have served for an extended period in a key volunteer role, or those who have made a significant contribution by leading a specific and important project, or those who have served in multiple roles with great distinction.
Nominations may be made only by current USTA Council Chairs. Each nominator may make a maximum of one nomination.
SELECTION PROCESS
Candidates shall be nominated by Committee Chairs. Each nominator may make only one nomination for each VESA category.
